Be You - At every step of the journey

Emily is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist who graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Master of Speech Pathology from La Trobe University. Emily has 5 years of experience working as a speech pathologist in a range of settings such as primary and high schools, clinics and Kindergartens. Emily has a deep commitment to helping children and teens grow into confident, capable communicators. She truly believes in “being you - at every step of the journey”.

Through her experience working with individuals across the lifespan, Emily developed a strong passion for supporting children and young people. She provides therapy in a range of areas, including speech sounds, language, fluency (stuttering), literacy, social communication, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).

Her approach is neuroaffirming, strengths-based, and grounded in the latest evidence. Emily values each child’s unique communication style and tailors therapy to suit their interests, needs, and goals. She understands that communication success looks different for every individual and works collaboratively with families to support meaningful progress, without pressure or judgment.

Emily has completed additional training in early language development, autism support, AAC, and fluency, and continues to engage in professional learning to ensure her practice reflects current research and inclusive approaches.

She creates a warm, playful, and empowering therapy space where both children and parents feel heard, respected, and supported. Building trust, celebrating strengths, and fostering connection are at the heart of her work.

Emily provides therapy in a range of settings including homes, schools, Kindergartens and online, offering flexibility to meet the needs of each family.

Outside of clinical work, Emily likes to go bouldering, read and spend time with her friends and cats!
